The Cain Pit are a self proclaimed "Punkgrass" band. Based just outside of Norwich the band blends traditional twang of Bluegrass with energetic punk rock. Think Old Crown Medicine show meets every millennial punk rock band. The Cain Pit formed during the end of the world, originally as a studio project. However when it turned out the world wasn't ending any more, founding members Daryl (vocals, double bass) and Scott (Guitar) decided to try and make the studio project a real life band. A years worth of stops and starts Scott and Daryl managed to weed out the most suitable hillbilly punks in the area, Isaac (Banjo), Joe (Acoustic guitar and harmonica) and Jamie (drums). Currently trying to find gigs in the area and make others feel uncomfortable bringing folk instruments into rock shows.
